We are Claude Lasante, I am Canadian having lived 5 years in Cartagena in Colombia with my wife Diana Arellano who was born in this magnificent city on the edge of the Caribbean Sea.
During the winter We go between 4 and 6 months to Cartagena to accompany you during the entire process of your dental care with the dentist Raul Villafañe, who is a long-time friend and specialist in dental implants, crowns, all-on-4/6 and veneers and also in the process of your Plastic Surgeries with Dr. Carlos Roman who is a private cosmetic surgeon with many years of experience in his speciality and a recognized surgeon by the government of Colombia.
Our responsibility is to be your spokesperson, to accompany you, advise you and transport you to Cartagena de Indias so that your treatments goes perfectly without unpleasant surprises and that you are satisfied before returning to your country.
After having crowns and dental implants in Colombia, I found that the prices were about 75% cheaper than in Canada, the quality of care similar and above all a pleasant welcome.
So Claude created a website in french about dental tourism in Colombia in 2019 in order to offer something unique by accompanying patients with us to each dental appointment and also sharing our experiences so that they feel good and confident and at the beggining of 2023 I joined the team adding Plastic Surgery Services.
Indeed, because Colombia still has a false image that many people believe. They ignore that Colombia is a very different country from before, especially those who have never set foot in this country.

Checking many websites that offer medical treatments worldwide, I noticed a lack of information regarding the years of experience and doubts that some are general doctors who often come from countries such as Tunisia, Turkey, Mexico and Eastern European countries.
Therefore, I only do business with doctors who have at least 20 years in their specialty and who are registered with the Colombian government to ensure that the quality of care and materials are consistent with our Canadian values.
I also believe that a precise work plan is essential before your arrival in Cartagena in order to plan your stay according to your particular disposition. A quote/diagnosis is sent to you and during the first meeting, the doctors validates it with you following an examination and specifics test.
Once the work is completed and paid, I will send you a detailed invoice in English for your federal and provincial taxes. I strongly suggest you keep this invoice, your passport from your entry into Colombia and proof of payments (if cash, no need) in case a government requires it.
